C&S Commercial Properties' History
Carolyn Riddle Armstrong and Sharlene Riddle Williams established C&S Commercial Properties, Inc. in
1996 to carry on the legacy of their late father, J. P. Riddle, and their mother, March Floyd Riddle, who at the age of 80 continues to inspire the two
sisters and employees of C&S on a daily basis.
In a city and county whose population for the most part is made up of active duty and retired military
Carolyn and Sharlene enjoy a unique status in that they are lifetime Fayetteville natives. The sisters not only enjoy continuing to build
their successful business, they also give their time and expertise by participating on numerous committees with the local schools, charitable
organizations, churches and helping to develop businesses that contribute to the growth of Fayetteville and Cumberland County.
C&S Commercial Properties manages Carolyn and Sharlene’s portfolio consisting of several shopping centers
in Cumberland, Harnett, and Wake Counties. Their tenant list
consists of national and regional tenants such as Barnes and Noble,
Kmart Super Store, Old Navy, Office Max, Food Lion, Lowe’s Home Improvement, Goody’s, Outback, Golden Corral, Chick-fil-A, Family Dollar, and Ruby Tuesday’s
to name a few. They also have several housing projects currently underway in Cumberland County.
